The PenFed Foundation supports service members as they transition to civilian life, empowering them to find their purpose after the military and realize their potential. Through our Military Heroes Program, we award high-impact community grants as well as individual grants that celebrate the leadership and selfless service of military members. We also support veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs through our Veteran Entrepreneur Program (VEP), which provides expert-led training, mentorship, and networking opportunities—all at no cost to participants. PenFed Credit Union covers most of the administrative costs and salaries of The PenFed Foundation, so nearly every dollar donated goes directly to our mission.
