THE PENN DISTRICT

Located in the heart of New York City in the middle of Manhattan’s booming new west side, The PENN District redevelopment is poised to revitalize the area, its businesses and the transit experience. Vornado’s $2.3 billion, multi-phased transformation of the Midtown West neighborhood is well underway, anchored by the redevelopments of The Farley Building and The Moynihan Train Hall, which opened in December 2020. This inaugural phase was the first step to modernizing travel and attracting new brands and commerce to the City’s most accessible neighborhood. PENN 1, opening November 2021, will reveal an office building of the future. Encompassing 2.5MM square feet with direct access to Penn Station and The Moynihan Train Hall. The redevelopment of PENN 2, which sits at the gateway to The PENN District along 7th Avenue and is located directly across from PENN 1, will create the opportunity for a 4.4MM SF connected campus that will also feature WorkLife amenities. The transformation of this 1.8MM SF asset set to open in Fall 2023 will feature a state-of-the-art glass curtain wall, Town Hall, rooftop park, tenant lounges and outdoor space and abundant hospitality options. These innovative, interconnected, and purpose-built facilities, supported by the most connected transportation hub in North America will present a new era for The PENN District and offer a destination for tenants, commuters and visitors alike.
