The Phoenix People

The Phoenix People's mission is for trauma survivors, to not feel ashamed, lonely, or weak anymore. But to feel proud, connected, and strong. And make it easier, therefore, to look for help. We do this by collecting, showing and creating space for people's stories from Victim to Victor via: - Campaign: Most stories will be shown in a campaign on social media @phoenixpeopleproject on Instagram, tiktok and LinkedIn. Also on the website www.phoenixpeopleproject you can find these stories and share your own. - Exhibition: A few of the stories will be shown in a physical exhibition that will be able to travel to locations all over the world. For this exhibition, the interviews will be printed and accompanied by a photoshoot. This photoshoot will be a portrait picture made of a phoenix person holding a candle. - Documentary Series: Next to the exhibition, the documentary series can be shown. This will be an international series, we follow someone's journey from victim to victor. Next to that, in each episode, we will collaborate with a healthcare organization and a charity organization. we also want to uphold our mission by making a space where people can meet, help and connect with each other via: Community: For people wanting to connect with other phoenix people, there will be an app. in this app, people can chat with each other. Chat groups will be formed based on type of trauma and location. Houses: The houses are physical places where you can find different things there: a meeting place for phoenix people. with organized meet-up events. coaches that will guide you through the process to find the right therapy and practitioner for you.
