Granton Project CIC trades as 'The Pitt'. In 2023, The Pitt established itself as a Not-for-Profit Community Interest Company and is owned and operated by the Granton Project. Based at West Shore Road on the Granton Prominade and part of the North Edinburgh regeneration project, The Pitt, Granton will provide space, support and skills development for local individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses to set-up and grow. Occupying a significantly larger area than their previous location on Pitt Street, The Pitt’s bold vision is for a new social, cultural and grassroots space where ideas can be trialled, tested and brought to life in a supportive, low-barrier, community environment.
With a planned year-round indoor market, a permanent outdoor street food market, a coffee shop, a bar and an event space with a regular programme, The Pitt, Granton will be an entrepreneurial hub as well as an open, safe, collaborative space for the whole community, providing significant economic and social benefits.
