We deliver therapy that feels like play—helping grown-ups raise happy, healthy, and confident kids. At The Play Projects, we offer evidence-based therapy services that support children’s development in simple, practical, and play-filled ways. Founded in 2016 by Occupational Therapist Kait Cummins, we’ve grown into a multidisciplinary service supporting children and families through: ✔️ In-person and telehealth therapy ✔️ Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Behaviour Support ✔️ Group programs in-clinic and online ✔️ School holiday intensives ✔️ Customised intensives for local and rural families ✔️ A wide range of reports, assessments, and support services We aim to make the often complex world of child development simple for parents, educators and caregivers. When believe that when play is prioritised—not overlooked or undervalued—it brings the joy back for families and creates space for real growth. Our approach is rooted in six core pillars of healthy development: movement, real food, love and connection, quality sleep, time in nature, and free play. No two sessions look the same—because no two children are the same. Therapy might mean scaling the rock wall in our purpose-built gym, rafting a river in Harrietville, or cooking lunch with peers in a group program. It’s interactive. It’s trauma-informed. It’s deeply rooted in neuroscience. And it’s designed to help grown-ups embed game-changing strategies into daily life.
