The Playground™ is founded by two fresh graduates. As wannabe entrepreneurs, we are constantly working on our laptop, and we need a space to get things done. However, it’s extremely difficult to find a space that’s really conducive for work. Hence, we created a space not only for our guests, but for ourselves too. Every patron is more like a co-worker, than just a customer. Here, we hustle along with our beloved ‘co-workers’. The Playground™ is a space for students, freelancers and entrepreneurs to work their ass off and achieve goals. It’s a vibrant space for hard-core and committed individuals. No over-friendliness, no happy-go-lucky, no shenanigans. Our space is designed to promote productivity and concentration, so that our guests can focus on their work, not needing to worry about anything else. We provide a quiet environment, ergonomic seating, ultra-fast WiFi (100Mbps), multiple Independent plug points, concentration music, essentials oils that boost productivity and decrease stress. Also, free flow coffee, tea, fruit water, soft drinks, ice-cream, cake and 11 varieties of snacks and more! Our name speaks all by itself - our space is a ‘Playground’ for like-minded individuals who have goals (getting good grades, passing exam, creating a start-up, completing tasks, etc). Our logo signifies a sun, providing hope and motivation for our frequenters. Each day, as the sun rises, remind yourself that you are yet again given another chance to improve on yesterday. That’s what we preach and practice ourselves. Be better today than you were yesterday, and be better tomorrow than you are today. That’s the message we’d like to deliver to our frequenters. If you get this far, you may notice that we don’t adopt the conventional corporate tone; we believe that keeping it real is what’s going to drive us further down the road, and get close to our visitors.
