The Pre-Medical Society of the Ateneo (PMSA)

The PMSA is the premier pre-medical organization of Ateneo that is home to students dedicated to nation-building in the context of health and medicine. It is the vision of this organization to be a community of students in the Ateneo de Manila University, holistically prepared as future doctors. The organization facilitates the formation of outstanding clinicians and proactive leaders, who have an understanding of the medical profession, that initiate development in the health sector of the Philippines. It is the mission of this organization through its various projects to provide experiences and opportunities that nurture its members to gain a perspective of medicine beyond its clinical aspect in order to develop the ideals of the Atenean doctor, and assist the members in pursuing a career in the medical field while initiating interaction and sharing insights with fellow members, and strengthening professional relationships with other communities outside the Ateneo.
