What is The PPC Academy? The PPC Academy exists to make performance marketing less gatekeepy, less intimidating, and a hell of a lot more welcoming. We’re here for the underdogs. The career switchers. The juniors without mentors. The freelancers figuring it out on their own. Whether you’re just getting started in PPC or trying to level up without losing your mind, this is your space to learn, ask questions, and feel like you actually belong. Started by freelance PPC consultant Charley Brennand - after years of blagging her way into the industry, getting knocked back, and realising how much harder it is when you don’t have the “right” background, The PPC Academy was built to be the exact thing she wishes existed when she started out. No egos. No paywalls. No “sorry we don't allow X titles”. We run regular free events in Manchester (with bits to eat and drink, obvs), covering everything from Google Ads basics to navigating tricky client convos, plus honest talks from people doing the job, not just those that love to talk about it. There’s space to network, ask the “silly” questions, and actually meet other humans who know what it feels like to have your stakeholders stare blankly at you when you tell them their landing pages are shite. We’re not here to sell courses or tell you there’s one right way to do PPC. We’re here to make the journey feel less lonely, share what we know, and help more brilliant people break into the industry and MOST IMPORTANTLY ... stay in it.
