Welcome to The Practical Science Teachers Never before have teachers faced so much pressure from so many different directions to improve student performance in science and engineering. Teachers are constantly bombarded with new initiatives such as; NGSS, 3 Dimensional Learning, Visible Learning, and IB, that are intended to drive student learning and understanding to new heights. In addition, there is the reality of being day to day in the classroom addressing student and parental needs, while being faced with the constraints placed on teachers by the local school and district. We are here to help! Our mission is to provide teachers with practical tools and suggestions for implementing the most effective practices from the latest in educational research on how students learn. Our focus is to facilitate 3 Dimensional Learning aligned to the Next Generation of Science Standards to maximize student learning and understanding of science and engineering.
