The Preferred Thinking Group is a consulting company designed to develop professional results within organizations. As a minority, veteran-owned and operated business, The Preferred Thinking Group is comprised of experienced, diverse, agile, and, most importantly, professional individuals who are passionate about providing value to our clients. First, we bring an extensive network consisting of people from all over the workforce including the U.S. military (all branches and special operations), the U.S. Department of Energy National labs, corporate industry including Northrop Grumman, Intel, Micron, etc., academia, and government organizations such as the intelligence community. We realize that networking is more important than your education at higher levels of career status so having a network is ideal. Secondly, we provide mentorship. We believe that without mentorship, people will waste a lot of time trying to find their way in their careers. The guidance one can gain from mentorship will be critical to their success, especially for those who want to continue to progress in their career. Third, we provide professional development training to include interviewing, public speaking, networking, how to dress, etc. We believe you should dress how you want to be addressed and that the only presentation is not on your computer. We want to give the knowledge and wisdom gained over the years to customers so they can be successful sooner and that they understand certain dynamics in certain areas of the workforce. Lastly, we also guide and help those find what career path they want to take. Personally, what we have experienced is that some people are confused about exactly what they want to do sometimes it’s because either they are interested in so many things or it’s because they just do not know what is out there. We can provide insight to all of those to help provide direction to get to what they need to get to on time and on target.
