Based in Edinburgh, The Procurement Hub is a friendly professional service provider enabling businesses to unlock value via their Procurement function to support their growth, profits and success. My name is Michael Bodeau and I have 21 years’ experience in the Procurement field. I have worked for companies including Baxters Foods Group, Deans of Huntly, Whyte and Mackay, Highland Spring Group and Pitreavie Packaging where I gained strong and robust skills in negotiating contracts, driving category reviews, setting up tenders, analysing proposals, implementing recommendations, building strong relationships with suppliers of direct and indirect materials and services in order to secure continuity of supplies. I set up The Procurement Hub to help and support businesses who: - find themselves in a position where they need support to carry out their Procurement activities but do not have the structure required this early in their development, - feel that due to uncertain economic times a temporary approach to carry out Procurement activities is more suitable for them, - feel that obtaining an outside evaluation to review their processes/activities would be beneficial to ensure they are on the right path to support their aspirations.
