The Readability Group

We identify three main categories of accessibility in written communications: emotional, functional and technical. Each is unique in its definition and reader requirements. And each must meet the reader's expectations. When combined, the written word acheives optimal impact on the reader. The Readability Group aims to optimise typographic accessibility. Inevitably, there are compromises that need to be made that may affect maximum performance in one area to ensure it's satisfactory in others. Our passion is in typographic best practice in respect to accessibility. We offer consultancy and research to organisations who need to ensure their choice of digital font is the most optimal for their audience.
