I combine a decade’s experience consulting with business and a career as a writer and literary blogger to help leaders become better readers. Harry Truman said leaders are readers. Literature has the power to challenge your thinking and improve your leadership skills. But readers need a guide to select and discuss texts with. With my experience as a writer, I am uniquely qualified to help you become a better reader. I have spent the last year writing a book about late bloomers, combining the insights of social science and biography to better understand how remarkable talent flourishes unexpectedly. In my decade of experience consulting with FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 businesses, I have interviewed CEOs, consulted with HRDs, and run interviews and focus groups in dozens of countries. Working with stakeholders, I have seen the transformative power of reading contemporary non-fiction. But I also know that literature and biography is underrated in development.
