As the successor of Medicine Encompassed, The Reconceive Project (TRP) is an organization & project founded on ideas of rewriting the narratives around how health education, outreach, and community development stands for youth globally. Suggested by the word “reconceive” (or to create once again), TRP’s main mission is to redefine the way existing health initiatives and youth efforts are delivered — and to democratize information and resources for all young folks as we empower them to become health scholars and advocates. TRP aims to highlight as many sides of health advocacy as possible, such as through intergenerational community initiatives, mentorship programs, global projects and events, student-made works, interactive workshops, curricula, and other forms of dissemination.
