The Reconnect Project

The Reconnect Project is a social enterprise dedicated to repairing and providing pre-loved mobile phones, tablets & laptops to people in need. We accept donations of old, broken and unwanted mobile phones and tablets, repair them, and give them to people in situations of disadvantage, such as refugees, someone exiting the justice system or a woman reestablishing life after fleeing domestic violence. The Reconnect Project believes in the 'right to repair' and provides mobile device repair services from our workshop in Penshurst, southern Sydney. Our long term aim is to train and provide employment to people who would otherwise not have access to a job, to assist them in establishing their own micro business as a mobile device repairer.
