The Rescue Foundation has two(2) main focus areas: enhancing food security for our community and crisis intervention. Our Social Supermarket project will provide a sustainable model of food assistance. It will offer a combination of free and low-cost food items to our beneficiaries. This project will start with a pilot series of pop-up social markets. Our first pop-up launched on October 1, 2022 and continues monthly.
Our Community Garden project will encourage individual food production and supply our social market, providing healthy food choices and bartering options for persons with restricted food budgets.
