The R.O.S.E. Foundation

The R.O.S.E.(Recognizing Opportunities for Service and Education) Foundation is a non-profit community organization whose charitable purpose is to secure resources to positively impact the quality of life for deserving women and their families. Our goal is to empower women in transition to achieve greater economic security and self sufficiency for themselves and their families through initiatives that build self-esteem through education, the arts and self empowerment, build self reliance through economic awareness, financial literacy and health awareness, enhance life skills in the areas of health, family dynamics, and economics, and enhance emotional competence and coping skills. The foundation was established on June 12, 2002. Operations were officially established in September 2003. The educational and charitable endeavors are supported and endorsed by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®, Phi Beta Omega, Chapter.
