The Rum Embassy sàrl

Créée en 2015, The Rum Embassy est une entité ayant pour vocation la représentation et la valorisation des rhums agricoles issus des Départements-Régions d'Outre-Mer français (DROM), parmi lesquelles la Guadeloupe et la Martinique situées dans l'arc des Petites Antilles, la Guyane rattachée au continent sud-américain à l’échelle mondiale. Le rhum agricole est généralement considéré de qualité supérieure, néanmoins il ne s’agit que de 5% de la production mondiale. Ainsi, depuis deux ans Jerry Gitany et Benoît Bail s’attèlent à la promotion de cette eau-de-vie. L’Agricole Tour est l’évènement phare de l’ambassade permettant 17 marques de rhums agricoles antillaises de se faire connaitre partout dans le monde ! Benoit Bail and Jerry Gitany joined their forces years ago to represent the rum category as ambassadors for this spirit. They created the worldwide known facebook group "La Confrérie du Rhum" in 2013 and represented rums from all over the world on festivals, fairs and in the industry. Close to the professionals and the consumers, they work to promote the sugarcane spirits, link the people in the industry and educate people about it as much as possible. In 2016 they create the information website "RumGazette" (www.rumgazette.com) to make their work more efficient and get people as much as information they can about the rum industry and its evolution.
