The Ruth Project

The Ruth Project is a global gender equity organization working with youth to teach them the skills to challenge gender inequity around them. Through grassroots lobbying, self-advocacy training, and youth empowerment, we've changed school dress code policies across the United States and now have almost a dozen initiatives working to improve Title IX access and increase equity in dress code policies across North America. We are an organization of highly motivated and passionate individuals striving to leave their mark on the wider world by combating gender inequity. The passion for change transcends the borders separating us until we are more than an organization—we are a movement of young people teaching each other how to truly be the change they want to see.
