The Saturday Program

The Saturday Program company information, Employees & Contact Information

Cooper Union's Saturday Program has offered 100% free art and architecture courses to NYC's public high school students since 1968. Today, the program serves 200 students a semester and offers 8 classes. Saturday Program classes run every Saturday throughout the school year (with the exception of holidays) from 10 am - 5 pm on Cooper Union's campus in the East Village. Currently, we offer Drawing, Painting, Graphic Design, Sculpture, Digital Media & Photography, and Architecture to grades 9-12. High school seniors hoping to pursue a career in the arts are also welcome to apply to one of our Senior Studio courses in Visual Art or Design. Current students of any New York City public high school may submit an application on our website at any time — no prior art experience required! We accept applications for each semester on a rolling basis.
