The SeaNomads

SeaNomads depend on the ocean, live with it and love it. They respect the power of the seas, take only little of it and know how to travel, navigate and survive on the open sea. They are one with the ocean. This lifestyle and mind-set should be a great inspiration for all of us, in order to face the environmental and social challenges of today (climate change, mass extinction, waste pollution). We believe that only by combining traditional and modern innovative ideas, these challenges can be tackled. Seatrekking as a young sport and lifestyle tries to do this. We travel along coastlines for several days, snorkel & free dive in the water and hike on land, while spending the nights outside under the stars. In a waterproof and floatable backpack we carry all necessary things we need, while reducing our necessities to the most essential. Our vision is to convince people to respect and protect nature by curiously exploring and discovering it. We want to return to mother nature through intense experiences and sustainable sports. Seatrekking is the best way to combine fun and responsibility, to appreciate and to preserve our environment. This sport creates awareness for the essential things in life. An experience with friends, nature, switching off the phone and concentrating on being present in the moment. Also realizing how few things we need to feel happy. So far, we are only a small community, but with every new person joining, we are growing in our influence to preserve our seas and coastal regions. Furthermore, treating ourselves by having a break from hectic daily lifes. So take a deep breath & join the adventure!
