The ShareLingo Project's consulting arm helps companies connect their English and Spanish speaking employees, managers, and customers. We provide CULTURAL training to building understanding, and normally include LANGUAGE training as a catalyst in this process. "Diversity" - what is that - really? Doesn't it mean having people from different backgrounds and cultures working together. Helping each other without regard to race, sex, religion, age, or culture? The thing is, a company can not MANDATE diversity ( See Why Diversity Programs Fail from the Harvard Business Review ) Many have tried - and failed. The ShareLingo Project connects cultures. We can help you - or your company - or your non-profit - solve the diversity challenge - by bringing people together and helping them communicate. ShareLingo's language exchange model is simple. We bring small groups of English and Spanish speakers together and help them teach, and learn from, each other. This exchange creates a mentoring environment that breaks down barriers, while improving performance. Why do we do this? The ShareLingo Project's mission is to help people from different cultures understand each other. That doesn't just mean the words - "understanding" has every bit as much to do with culture as vocabulary. If your company has Spanish speaking staff or customers (or wants to reach out to the Hispanic community), we can help you.
