The Soap Box

Founded in 2016, The Soap Box is a publication dedicated to publishing the work of emerging and established writers, allowing them the opportunity to have their voices heard. The Soap Box releases a creative writing anthology on an annual basis, which includes creative works inspired by a preselected theme. We also publish poetry chapbooks three times a year. Writers are invited to submit poetry, short stories, and free verse pieces during open calls. Afterwards, the written works selected for publication by our editorial board are included in our print publications which are available for purchase. Simultaneously, The Soap Box strives to create a community for writers and artists to inspire and support the creative process.
