The Spear Group is a private real estate investment and development firm based in South Florida. The company was founded in 1966 by L. William Spear in Boston, Massachusetts and has been active in the Florida market since 1976. The Spear Group has built more than 30 residential communities and over 3,000 residences in Florida. Our vertically-integrated capabilities enable us to act as developer, licensed general contractor and real estate broker on projects. The Spear Group currently focuses on value-add and opportunistic investments in residential and commercial real estate transactions in Florida. We utilize our local market knowledge to identify undervalued assets and create value through development, redevelopment and property-level enhancements.
