The SQuarE Route

The SQuarE Route is a not-for-profit training and development agency run by solicitors and barristers. Our sole aim is to help as many aspiring solicitors qualify as possible without charging. The new SQE route to qualification gives students the best chance to qualify as a solicitor. We will provide every student who applies with free employability training to run alongside the SQE course including tips on making your CV and application stand out, commercial awareness training and what to expect in an assessment centre. They’ll also be given the opportunity to gain work experience within our partner firms along with the opportunity to undertake a mini-pupillage with a barrister specialising in an area of law that interests them. Throughout the year we will also offer all students the opportunity to undertake mock HR interviews, commercial awareness exercises and assessment centres, giving them a better understanding of what to expect, and finally will also put them through a formal assessment centre with a set number being granted 24 months of guaranteed Qualifying Work Experience. So, at the same time as receiving their SQE qualification and extensive additional free training, students will also given the opportunity to secure a training contract with us.
