The hotel collection began with the purchase of the Bells Hotel and Golf Club in the Forest of Dean and has since grown to include other hotels, The Morritt, Barnard Castle and Hall Garth, Darlington. North of England Estates Limited, the parent company of The Squirrel Group was first established in 1934 and is currently run by its board of directors. The focus of the company is now on the development of the hotel collection to offer guests an experience that represents good quality and value with plenty of luxury touches.
