The Structural Workshop

The Structural Workshop (Pty) Ltd is a Structural Engineering design practice specialising in refined and bespoke projects tailored to individual needs. Established in 2015 by Craig Tyndall, The Structural Workshop aims to merge engineering and architectural design in order to enhance the overall visual outcome of each project with the aim of achieving financial efficiency and sustainability. Each project is conceptualised and designed from foundations upward with a focus on the correct structural solution and visual aesthetic to satisfy the client’s budget and needs as well as the architect's vision. The Structural Workshop firmly relies on in-depth involvement with both the client and architect from the very start of each project in order to attain the ideal solution that meets the expectations of all parties involved. We have a wide variety of experience across the development spectrum from the private sector covering commercial, educational, residential and industrial markets to the public sector covering the educational and low cost housing markets. We have experience in every shape and size structure from complex curved laminated timber sculptures to highrise AAA grade office towers incorporating a multitude of structural materials and requirements. Having completed a wide range of projects since establishment, we pride ourselves on our ability to achieve our deliverables both on time and within budget and enjoy a collaborative approach in order to hone our expertise and provide the best product possible.
