The Testimony Project, Washington D.C.

The Testimony Project, Washington, D.C. is an intersectional bilingual multi-media project established by Amanda Draper and Tanya Horwitz that is committed to providing victims-survivors of gender based violence and sexual violence the opportunity to tell their stories, receive support, and be heard. We invite people of all ages, sexes, gender identities, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, nationalities, and abilities who have experienced gender based and/or sexual violence to participate in our project, which has three different components: a feature length documentary film, an artistic and writing component, and a self-made video component. We are encouraging people to take part in whatever they feel the most comfortable doing.
