Founded by two TCKs, the Third Culture Kid Project aims to strengthen the community of TCKs around the world. Through our own experience, we found that there is not enough emphasis on the loss we experience with each move. The main problem is left on the side, unspoken and TCKs just move on with their lives. “According to Ruth Van Reken, unresolved grief is the most urgent mental health issue facing TCKs — the children as well as the adults they will become.”
By sharing stories from TCKs around the world, we hope to bring answers and relief to other TCKs. For non-TCKs, we want to raise awareness.
