The Ukraine Project

The Ukraine Project is a self-funded charitable project that for over 15 years has supported families and community projects in the Village of Makoshino in the Chernihiv Oblast, Northern Ukraine. The Project runs a residential and charitable programme in the summer and winter months, which allows British school children to visit Ukraine and assist with community projects. It has been designed to deliver a memorable opportunity for students to develop a first-hand understanding of social responsibility, the environment, contrasting cultures and emotional intelligence. The Project has helped to forge life-long friendships and offers a truly unique experience for both English and Ukrainian participants.
