About The Urejea Project
Urejea is a social enterprise transforming billboard waste into high-impact, community-driven solutions. We rescue used PVC flex materials from landfills and repurpose them into durable, functional products—turning waste into worth while supporting jobs, education, and climate action. Our upcycled product line includes school bags, tote bags, aprons, laptop sleeves, carpets, and protective covers, made by local artisans—many of whom are women and youth trained through our circular economy model. Each product carries the story of transformation: from advertising waste to tools that support daily life and dignity. We offer secure billboard collection services for corporate clients, ensuring responsible disposal, full brand protection, and measurable sustainability outcomes. In return, we generate tangible community impact through our donation model—giving school bags and essentials to underserved children with every billboard we upcycle. Through smart partnerships, circular design, and radical transparency, Urejea proves that waste isn’t the end—it’s a new beginning.
