The Chivas Venture

Every year, the Chivas Venture gives away $1 million in no-strings funding to social entrepreneurs, who blend profit with purpose to have a positive impact on the world. At Chivas, we believe that blended is better – in life, in business and in Scotch – and that you don’t need to choose between making money and making the world a better place. This belief was instilled by our founding brothers, James & John Chivas, who supported their local community as their business grew in 19th century Scotland. Today, more than ever, we need to work together to build a more sustainable future for people and the planet. That’s why we launched the Chivas Venture back in 2014, a global platform to support entrepreneurs who are solving the world’s biggest social and environmental issues. Every year, we give away $1 million in no-strings funding, and expert coaching at the Chivas Venture Accelerator Programme. Over the last 4 years, we’ve received over 8,000 applications, and supported 100 startups with funding and coaching. From turning plastic waste into affordable housing, and cow manure into sustainable fashion, to unlocking education for the blind, or lifting people out of homelessness through coffee, these startups have been redefining “business as usual” into “business as a force for good”. Collectively they have already enriched the lives of more than 1 million people in over 40 countries, across 6 continents.
