The VI-th Authority

The "Sixth Authority" ("Shosta Vlada") is a public non-profit organization established to protect the rights, interests and freedoms of students, young people and other citizens of Ukraine. The etymology of the name. According to the legal concept of separation of power, it is officially divided into three branches: legislative, executive, judicial. Unofficially there are two additional branches: media (fourth power) and secret agents of influence. The founders of the Movement extended this concept. They argue that the new generation (youth, students, active citizens) should also influence the decisions of the authority and willingly participate in social and political life of the state, that is why "Sixth Authority" incorporates respective purpose of the Movement.
