Our mission is to provide pathways of hope and opportunity for successful living beyond limitations for those with disabilities. Our vision is to be a catalyst for individuals with disabilities or limitations to live with dignity, independence, and confidence as contributors to society and a part of our community.
The founders, Ray and Renee Breazeale share a passion for individuals with disabilities. Their interest in this area stems from their personal lives because both Ray and Renee have experienced firsthand the effects of disabilities. Ray grew up with a brother named Davie who had Downs Syndrome, and Renee suffered from a brain tumor, which at one point, left her unable to walk. Together, their goal is to rally the community to support and provide independent living solutions, while enlightening people on the best practices of engaging with people with disabilities in realizing respect and dignity without any limitations.
The Victory Advantage is a certified nonprofit dedicated to providing pathways of hope and opportunity for successful and independent living for those with cognitive and physical disabilities. Net proceeds from Renee’s books will go toward funding the mission and ministry of their foundation, as well as personal, private and corporate donations.
The foundation offers financial assistance to qualifying applicants with cognitive and/or physical limitations to live independently with dignity. Examples of potential financial needs are listed below:
*To maintain or acquire independent housing opportunities such as rental assistance and deposits, etc.
* Construction needs in a private home to bridge the gap beyond what is required by the ADA and what is needed for independent living.
* Transportation services and equipment.
* Employment opportunities such as capital to start a business.
Our Capital Campaign will help us construct a housing community made attainable for individuals with cognitive and/or physical disabilities.
