The Williams Centre for Learning Advancement

The Williams Centre for Learning Advancement (WCLA) focuses on developing the learning associated with a shift towards new teaching pedagogy for our staff. Inspired by Professor Williams who was a faculty leader at the forefront of change management and teaching advancement: the centre aims to steer the Faculty through major pedagogical changes, including the incorporation of information technology in teaching and learning and teaching in blended, dual/hybrid and online formats. The Centre is the first point of call for teaching development needs for FBE staff and provides customised solutions when needed. Our long-term aim is to improve the learning experience for the staff and students and maximise student learning outcomes.
