The YAY! Foundation

The YAY Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making wellness approachable through humor, arts, and storytelling. Our mission is to break down stigma, build community, and empower diverse groups—including veterans, people in recovery, the LGBTQ+ community, and beyond—by transforming personal stories into powerful performances. Since 2022, we’ve partnered with organizations like the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the American Legion, and the Colorado Health Network to deliver impactful programs across the U.S. and Canada. Our flagship events, such as YAY! to the Veterans and our World AIDS Day showcases, blend stand-up comedy workshops, storytelling, and resource fairs—creating safe spaces for connection, healing, and support. With a proven record of success—18 programs completed in 2024 and 26 scheduled for 2025—our goal is to continue expanding access to arts-based wellness programs that inspire, uplift, and transform lives.
