The Anko Shop

Anko is a London-based and Nigerian-owned brand focusing on delivering affordable luxurious clothing, founded by Felix Inala. Having moved to the UK in 2021, Felix soon realised that the sense of community in his new home lacked and began to feel left alone. This is how the concept for Anko was born, with the idea of twinning, looking alike; enhancing a belief in belonging. For Anko’s founder, the project was more than fashion, if not a priority for self-confidence. Anko is more than a brand. It is a platform to share a tale focused on celebration, harmony and diversity stemming from Africa. To represent what Africa is truly, and bring into the light what has not been told. Expressing ourselves the way we truly are, oblivious to the existence of anything contrary to our identity as Africans. Anko is a synonym of acceptance.
