Area of Refuge is a non-profit dedicated to empowering Black and Brown communities through arts education, photography, and cultural preservation. Our programs allow community members to explore their heritage and identity through storytelling and documentary photography. We aim to create resilient, vibrant spaces where cultural preservation and creativity thrive. With a focus on providing arts education and offering fiscal sponsorship for fellow creatives, we work to ensure that the rich history and culture of changing neighborhoods are captured and shared.
