The Ark is a concept that is based on the betterment of the human civilisation. The conceptual term incorporates the daily aspects of human life like education, livelihood, news, technology and humanitarian causes, and aims to make them better and fruitful.
Just like the Biblical and Quranic story of Noah’s Ark, The Ark provides a platform towards salvation or deliverance to the betterment. The curse of corruption, immorality, ignorance, greed, destruction and inequality have already consumed humanity, but a hope could be seen in The Ark – which is a realisation of one’s own, individual contribution towards the human civilisation.
At The Ark, we strive to prepare an army intellectuals, educators, thinkers, doers, leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators who would spend their skills, intellects and ideas to further the concept of true progress.
Keeping in view the above reasons and many more undiscussed, The Ark Group comprises of administrative division like those of Education, Charity, News, Employment Generation and Familiarisation with Information Technology. The future planes include many other expansions into the fields of Livestock, Food Processing, Retail, Communications, Environmental Protection, Social Networking etc.
The Ark Group was founded in the year 2012 by Sheikh Owais, a Kashmiri by birth with experience about IT, Education, Science, Theology and English Language from schools like Caset Experimental School from Kashmir, Edinburgh College (Formerly Telford College) from Edinburgh, Scotland, Imperial College from London and Princeton University from Princeton, New Jersey. He was a former affiliate of the Indian Science Society (I.S.S) for over half a decade till 2009. He currently is completely involved and dedicated towards the creation, running and improvement of The Ark Group. As a hobby, he taught at The International College of Aviataion in Srinagar and at his residence as well as a communication skills and personality development teacher. His professional career encompasses experiences from various fields from McDonals restaurants to Technical Support BPOs from England and Kashmir, From teaching at home to Teaching in a professional college. He has made it the goal of his life to serve humanity at every possible level with every possible resource.
