Theatron Entertainment LLP

"Theatron Entertainment", founded in 2011, is a Pune based theatre group and entertainment platform. What started as a group of like-minded theatre enthusiasts in their late teens, has now blossomed into one of the most prominent theatre groups to emerge out of Pune. Theatron has made a name for itself for consistently delivering plays in unusual genres, and putting out products that are technically and creatively pushing the barriers in terms of presentation and content. Be it horror-comedies, pantomimes, solo performances, or musicals in Marathi, Hindi, and English – Theatron has always managed to experiment with different forms, and yet remain accessible to the audience. Theatron has produced over 20 stage productions and earned prestigious awards at prominent festivals like Filmfare, Thespo, Zest Festival, Saarang Festival, Zee Natya Gaurav, the Centrestage Festival at NCPA, and META. We had the honor of representing India and having the only play from Asia selected for the Vreme-Vratsa International Theatre Festival in Bulgaria. With the strong belief that good content should not be limited to any one platform and a growing repertoire of professionals working in the entertainment industry, Theatron has now expanded into the web and audio-visual territory. With content streaming on platforms such as Disney+ Hotstar and MX Player, along with its own YouTube channel, Theatron has produced numerous web shows, short films and Web Series which have been showcased and received awards at platforms like the Filmfare Awards 2021, Stuttgart Film Festival, Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival, Alliance Francaise Film Festival amongst others. We at Theatron have always strived to bring a revolution not just on stage, but to the whole experience of an audience and the way they perceive and receive content. With its ever-expanding roster of young artists, and a thirst to try out, invent, and adopt new forms of content creation.
