The Black Box Approach

At The Black Box Approach, we offer training in Suicide Prevention and Mental Health First Aid. We teach people how to engage with themselves, others, and their working relationships to enable empowering changes like learning how to save a life. As a training provider rooted in aviation following a 20-year career as a pilot, trainer and incident investigator, we teach through experience and procedures. With over 10 000 flying hours, our professional experience has given us the insight that, like an aircraft's black box, a simple, caring conversation can help to relieve the pressure of someone's own personal battles. At The Black Box Approach, we help people struggling with disconnection find a lifeline, we inspire holders of hope whilst helping to build a healthier, kinder society.
