The Box Gallery

The Box Gallery (@theboxgallerysouthsea - insta) was founded with a vision to bring local, national and international innovative contemporary art to Portsmouth, and to create a space where people can engage with art and with each other. Art has the power to inspire, to challenge, and to transform - we need more of that. The Box Gallery represents a diverse group of emerging and established contemporary artists from around the world. We are passionate about discovering new talent and supporting our artists. We work closely with them to develop their work and create opportunities for them to showcase their art. We will be hosting a variety of exhibitions throughout the year, featuring works by our artists as well as curated shows exploring different themes and ideas. Our exhibitions will be designed to challenge and inspire, and we encourage visitors to engage with the art and with each other.
