The Brook is an award-winning vegan food business, that has been at the forefront of plant-based innovation in the UK since 2013.
2022 - present
Our Academy is an online education hub for mastering the basics of plant-based cooking. Through the academy, we share the knowledge gained from 10 years of running The Brook restaurants and food business.
2018 - 2022
As a food production business, we grew a multiple award-winning FMCG brand from concept to national listings, with an average growth rate of 3x per year. Our operation spanned major UK retail, D2C/ecommerce and manufacturing, with our own production site in Cambridgeshire. In 2022 we closed the food production business after market conditions made it impossible to sustain a young frozen food business.
2013 - 2020
The Brook started life as a vegan restaurant in Surrey. In 2018 we opened a 2nd site in Hackney, which won the TimeOut award for Best Restaurant in the same year. Sadly, covid saw the end of the restaurants but the brand pivoted into the retail & home delivery markets as above.
