CBDX, a division of the Central Business District Association (CBDA) of Virginia Beach, is a group of business professionals ages 40 and under charged with furthering the mission of the CBDA. CBDX is committed to encouraging involvement of the next generation of business leaders in support of local businesses and organizations, as well as creating future development initiatives targeting young professionals. Central Business District Association (CBDA): The CBDX supports the existing Central Business District Association’s goals and events. Young Professionals: Encourage participation of young professionals in the Central Business District of Virginia Beach by creating and promoting events and organizations within the Central Business District which cater to this demographic. Networking: Create networking opportunities to advance communication between up-and-coming business professionals. Social Opportunities: Work with local charities and non-profits through civic and social opportunities which serve Hampton Road’s children, families and neighborhoods. Shaping the Future: Shape future development initiatives and strategic growth plans for the Central Business District of Virginia Beach by incorporating input and ideas from young professionals.
