Barbara founded and led two New York-based start-ups and spent 9 years working with multi-national enterprise clients as a senior executive at Deloitte Consulting. She launched her private consulting practice, TSG The Shannon Group, in 2006 where she led senior executives through complex, business transformation initiatives. Clients include FEI/ThermoFisher, Flextronics/NexTracker, HireRight, Hewlett Packard, Xilinx, Virgin Media, JDSU/Lumentum along with dozens of Bay Area mid-market firms.
Barbara is a sought-after speaker and author on leadership, strategy and the future of work. She is a fellow at the Wharton Center for Leadership and Change. She received her BA from Smith College and her MBA at The Wharton School.
