The Center for Oil and Gas Organizing (COGO) was founded in the fall of 2022. COGO’s mission is to ensure US federal agencies are held accountable on fossil fuel permits and policies such as gas exports (LNG) and interstate pipelines. Secondly, we are growing a platform for frontline community leaders to have the capacity to access, advocate with, and influence key leaders at these agencies.
