I take an in-depth and visionary approach to all aspects of career coaching including: CV and Linkedin profile writing, cover letter creation, personal and social media branding, and interview and job hunt strategies. I help you to not only master all of these aspects of career development, but also help you to understand the job search process in a more creative, holistic way. I’ve spent the last fifteen years as a headhunter targeting, interviewing and recruiting some of the world’s best talent for organisations as diverse as innocent drinks, Cancer Research UK, BP and Westminster Abbey. I’ve worked with FTSE100 Board Directors, HR Directors and recruiting teams across the private sector (in the media, consumer, retail, fmcg, and technology) and more widely with international charities, higher education, schools, the NHS, government and the arts. I’ve appraised thousands of CVs at all levels and I’ve interviewed countless professionals. So I know what will get you a foot in the door and what will land you the job you want (and what definitely won’t). I love helping people. And I love writing. So for me, this is my dream job. I run The CV Stylist from my home office shed (honestly, it’s much more lovely than it sounds) in the South Downs National Park. You can often find me grabbing a coffee or taking a breakfast meeting in Brighton or London. I also love staying up late Skyping international clients as far away as the US or Australia whilst I sip on hot chocolate and catch a glimpse of the stars.
