The Followership Africa is a citizens' targeted value reorientation initiative
focused at building a new generation of independent, responsible, responsive
and well equipped citizens for a safer and prosperous nation.
TFA, formerly The Followership Series (TFS) NG began activities in February
2016 with The Followership Symposium 2016 (1st Edition); an event which
featured 12 facilitators, about 200 participants, and over 300,000 online
impression.
The Second edition and third edition of the annual event were
held on June 30, 2017 and September 7, 2018 respectively in the city of Akure,
Ondo State. Feedbacks from all three previous editions established the
positive impact of the thoughts and action plans shared during the symposia
on participants which has continued to spark nationwide focus on our
Followership System and how we can get better
TFA also launched the #VOTENOTSELL campaign in October 2016, which
is a public reorientation campaign aimed at sensitizing electorates on the
inestimable value of vote cast above any form of monetary or material
inducements by political organizations or candidates before and during
electioneering process.
The Followership Africa (TFA) organizes The Followership Class (TFC) for
students of Primary and Secondary schools on a monthly basis; organizing
critical thinking and personal enhancement workshops for young minds that
are determined to challenge the future.
We partner with other social/community development based
organizations and enterprise to work on selected projects which are in
consonance with the purpose of our existence.
