The Glove Surgeon began when I was in college (circa 1992) and a lace on my catcher's mitt broke. I had to use the team mitt to catch the 2nd game of a double header and I hated it. I bought lace at a local sports store & fixed it. The glove was back in business and the rest was history. I've been repairing gloves ever since and loving it. My services have evolved due to my experience as a coach going from the HS varsity ranks, NAIA assistant, and finally Head Coach for a D-1 JUCO in Texas.
