The Hope Center KC

The Hope Center (THC) KC is a nonprofit community organization working to develop the east side of Kansas City through partnering with the community, first as its neighbor, secondly, its advocate. THC works to transform the community through outreach, youth leadership programming, quality education and affordable housing initiatives. Our partner organizations Hope Leadership Academy, a public charter school, and Hope Family Care Clinic serve the community through excellent medical care and elementary education. Mission: to confirm, collaborate and create vibrant neighborhoods on Kansas City’s east side where people of all types can flourish. This is accomplished through its spiritual, educational, medical, technical, economic and family based-initiatives. Vision: to honor God by developing healthy communities on Kansas City’s east side where the vulnerable can have hope and flourish.
